Using Stepwise

You may use Stepwise to create, edit, publish, host, embed, and share assembly guides. You are responsible for the content you upload, generate, edit, publish, or distribute through the service.

Accounts And Organizations

You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. Organization owners and admins are responsible for workspace users, permissions, API keys, published guides, billing, and compliance with these terms.

Your Content

You retain ownership of manuals, images, model files, product information, guide text, and other content you provide. You grant Stepwise the rights needed to host, process, transform, display, export, and distribute that content for operating the service, including through AI providers and storage vendors.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process the content, including product manuals, CAD files, brand assets, and product images.

AI Drafts And Safety Review

AI-generated guide steps, parts lists, warnings, and 3D geometry are drafts. You must review guide content against the real product before publishing or using it with customers. Stepwise does not guarantee that generated instructions, dimensions, geometry, hardware counts, warnings, or orientation cues are complete or error-free.

Published Guides

When you publish a guide, it may be visible in the public catalog, accessible by URL or QR code, embedded on third-party pages, and used by customers or AI assistants. You are responsible for keeping published guides accurate, current, and safe.

Payments And Credits

Paid features may use prepaid credits, subscriptions, or other billing plans. Fees are due as described at checkout or in your workspace. Credits may be non-transferable, have no cash value, and be usable only for Stepwise services unless otherwise stated. Failed generation jobs may be refunded or adjusted according to the product behavior shown in the app.

Acceptable Use

• Do not upload content you do not have permission to use.
• Do not publish false, unsafe, infringing, misleading, or illegal content.
• Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, billing, authentication, security controls, or API restrictions.
• Do not use Stepwise to create instructions for harmful, illegal, or unsafe activities.

Availability And Changes

We may update, suspend, remove, or change features, models, providers, pricing, quotas, and availability. We may also remove content or restrict accounts when needed for security, legal, payment, or abuse-prevention reasons.

Disclaimers And Liability

Stepwise is provided as a software service and guide-authoring tool. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties, and Stepwise is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. You are responsible for product safety, published instructions, and customer-facing claims.
